Sarah McNeese serves as the Veterans Service Representative Paralegal at Veterans Disability Help Center, bringing 14 years of dedicated experience helping veterans navigate the complex landscape of VA benefits. A proud veteran of the United States Army, Sarah’s mission is rooted in her passion for ensuring that those who have served their country receive the benefits they’ve earned.
Sarah’s extensive experience includes assisting veterans with education and compensation claims, navigating VA hospital systems, securing VA loans, and accessing benefits like VOC Rehab and Chapter 35 for those with permanent and total disability ratings. Her hands-on approach and personal understanding of the veteran experience make her an invaluable advocate for her clients.
Background and Education
Sarah grew up in Illinois, near the St. Louis metro area. As the first in her family to earn a college degree, she used her VA education benefits to pave the way for her academic success, ultimately earning multiple degrees:
- Associate in Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from Southwestern Illinois Community College
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from Southern Illinois University Carbondale
- Master of Public Administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville

A Life Rooted in Service
After years of traveling between Illinois and Florida, Sarah settled permanently in the Tampa Bay area in March 2023, embracing Florida’s year-round sunshine and vibrant lifestyle. She is deeply committed to her family, including her two children, and currently homeschools her youngest, finding joy in fostering her daughter’s education and growth.

Sarah loves spending time outdoors, exploring Florida’s beaches, and discovering new travel destinations. When not advocating for veterans, she enjoys cooking, reading, and researching new topics. Her strong connection to nature and family inspires her work, both at home and in her career.
